I am glad that the direction of the thread is steered back into the its own course after deviating into some sort of philosophically lexical debate based on 'Google' corpus linguistics analysis.
Medically speaking, it's absurd to say Yanbu was the cause, but doctors said that the polluted air there had worsened the situation and led to accelerated deterioration of his condition.

Saudi-British Centre/Institute is not the worst in the market, but it's just one of those dodgy family-owned language schools all over the world in which the balance between academic and financial considerations is shaken. As I was told from insiders, no native speaker has ever managed to survive there for more than six months. |
