Hi there ,

I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice. I have completed a tefl course and i am english have a degre, i really want to teach in Rome beginning april this yr. Alot of jobs i have seen advertised require experience so cant apply for these. also now term has started in sept are there alot less jobs .? What is the best way to get a job , shall i just book a flight and head over knock on some doors is that the best way ?

Also where do you english teachers live what are rents like do you have to pay months deposit rent up front for short term lets 3-6 months. i know i asking alot but would really apprecaite some help from any of you that are out there living it . thanks very much PEEPS X

Please write in proper English like what I do! I am writing tongue-in-cheek, but it drives me mad when people who are looking for English teaching jobs can't be bothered to enter an apostrophe (in the correct place) or capital letters. It's damn lazy. Yes, e-mail is a more informal mode in which to relay information but spelling and grammar (maybe only for me) are a type of courtesy.

Nuff said (see what a hypocrite I am?) However, between the lines lies some truth. Very Happy
