Sounds like you will have well conditioned skin too! I wonder what's in it that repels mosquitos. We have the same problem here. Once or twice out of desperation and when nothing else was available, I used the juice of a limon.

My remedy, passed along by a Mexican friend: Sanborn's Agua de Colonia Flor de Naranja. All it contains is alcohol, perfume and a stabilizer, nothing like DEET or any other insecticide. Although I have been teased that I smell like a senior citizen when I use it (yes, it is rather old fashioned), it works like a charm. Available in the bath & beauty products section at any Sanborn's for around $55 for 338 ml. Try it!

My grandmother swears by Skin So Soft by Avon.
Here's a site that lists a 100 uses for the product.

I used that in Canada, but it doesn't work for me in Mexico. The little mosquitos are particularly evil here.
