I will be completing my M.A. in TESL from a state university in two years. At that point of time I will have had near five years experience teaching ESL at a college in Korea though the experience is apriori of actually getting my M.A. in TESL (M.A. in History now). I also have a paltry 120 hour TEFL certification.

I am interested in money and so from reading these boards it seems Kuwait and the Kingdom are my best bets. I have no problems not drinking and being married I enjoy spending most of my time at home with my wife. My wife is happy cooking and cleaning and is not very social and would be fine in such an environment. We do however love watching torrents. I can subsist in a compound environment with no worries and so could she so long as we have access to our beloved torrents and media.

Will these two high paying countries have any ramifications for hitting piratebay on a regular basis. Is censorship of such things a reality?

My goal is to save money. I'm building a beach house in the Philippines and while I'm saving fine in Korea. The sooner I get enough to build the house the sooner I can enjoy my time on our land.

Right now in Korea we are bringing in about 2900$ a month but are paying for housing.

Can I do much better in the Kingdom or in Kuwait? We are saving about 8k a year now.

Pirate bay is blocked by the Saudi censorship as are many other torrent sites. I don't know whether there is any problem with Orbit satellite internet that doesn't go through the Saudi censor.

Speed is likely to be a problem

I'd suggest the UAE as a better option and likely with the best internet of your choices. But, it still might not be optimal for movie downloads. Better money (and living conditions, and most everything) in the UAE than Kuwait too.
