Hi, i was wondering if anyone new how to best apply for spanish summer camps, and how to time your application in relation to completing your CELTA? I don't have enough dinero to make it to spain and complete my celta for this septembers recruitment drive. When is it best to start applying to ensure you have a place? Should you apply from Spain or are online applications available and trustworthy (someone recommended to me the guaranteed summer camp position from itoi but i don't want to do their rubbish tefl, another recommended British Council but I am unsure on how to find/apply for these positions). Also do applications start a long time before the camps i.e. are contracts given in march-april say for positions beginning in June-August? If this is the case is it best to have fully completed your celta before applying (i.e. I'd have to complete a CELTA earlier and maybe even return to england before the summer if I have to) or can you complete it in Spain just before you go. Any advice would be great, I really can't take another year and a half in the UK!!

Summer camps are being advertised now, I assume you're subscribed here for job alerts, also try Eslbase for emailed job alerts. Most of the summer jobs advertised so far are in the UK which might not suit you!
