I'll be in HCMC studying for the CELTA and might stay in the area a bit longer than the month long course. I'm trying to decide if it's worth buying a water purifier to avoid using the disposable water bottles while I'm there. As an alternative, I was wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to get a 5 gallon water bottle (dispenser) delivered to my guesthouse? |

It's quite easy to get water delivered in 18.5 litre bottles. You need to pay a deposit which is maybe 30000vnd per bottle - you will probably want to get 2. They will give you the deposit back - just keep the receipt.
Cost varies from 6000-15000vnd a bottle, depending on the brand and how much you get fleeced for being foreign.
Ask the guest house owner to organise it, or befriend and English speaking Vietnamese person to translate for you. |
