It also acts as a fairly effective filter: the students who won't go for those conditions tend to be the ones you don't want to have anyway. |
That's true indeed! |

Have been in the desert for weeks and have given you all a break for a while.
I'll be in Poznan on Wednesday.
I said all this doom and gloom would happen ages ago and got panned.
So companies are laying people off, flat prices are coming down and aggregate demand is falling? In addition, expectations are going to affect that even more as there's more stuff to unravel. I said the boom was over for now. How are all those with CHF mortgages btw? Sterling will rebound further in the mid term...it's hysteresis dude! |

They've just fired up the Sterling printing presses, the effect of which will be felt in the mid term. |

That has already been discounted.
Once the US banks turn the curve so too will the Brits as they were heavily exposed to US subprime markets. Once confidence in the UK banks returns, Sterling will rebound. |

Yes.
11 days.....2,400 GBP so far. Am off to Blighty tomorrow. 60 GBP/night in a 'normal hotel', 700 GBP to the ex, 200GBP on the flight, 170GBP on presents, the rest on booze and food (in that order). To jest masakra.
Meals have got pricy in good restaurants, but the booze is ok if you're selective and sober.
Saw lots of sonny, got unexpectedly kicked in the face by a guy who then ran away once I got up and offered him out, had 4 mad days and 7 relaxing ones.
Been looking at flats.....shite for the money.
Won't be back til Xmas as sonny is visiting me next and I'm off to Bali in October.
Love the place, can't afford to come here as often as before as I'm hording the cash right now.
I wish you well. |

Keep us updated on your life Mr.Sharter.
It's true;flats in Poland are utter shite for the price.Crumbling concrete and shifty plumbing combined with ancient installations.
Good luck to you Sir! |
