Hi, I teach in Poland and want to work in Vietnam from the middle of June to the middle of September, about 3 months before returning to Poland, as no one studies English here during the summer.

Is it possible to organise a job for only 3 months?

Are there intensive summer courses?

I have a celta and some experience and want to teach adults, no kids.

Thanks Nick

if not Vietnam it looks like England but I know which I would prefer.

Anyone know anything? Please....

Another option would be to pick up a job for 3 months and then after 2 months give a months notice before quitting, but I would feel bad doing this and I don't know if it is that easy just to come and pick up a full time job straight away. Laughing

Hi. Sorry, it's somewhat difficult to give a simple answer to your question, which is probably why no one gave it a shot. Your title states '2 months,' but your text states 3. It's not likely any school would hire you for such a short time except for a YL summer slot, and you say you don't want to teach children, and your arrival date would be too late for that anyway.

I suppose a school might hire you part-time, and that you could put together hours from several schools to increase your income, but you'd hardly earn enough to pay for your airfare and living expenses, and there aren't any guarantees of hours anyway. Also, most schools pay at the end of each month, so you might experience a delay in getting your final wages. The best thing to do: email some schools and be honest with them, you might get lucky and find a good fit.
