Has anybody worked at Al-Mujaz? I might get an offer from them, and I just wanted to know how reliable they are re: salary payment, sponsorship, etc.

Randyteach, it's not a good sign that no one has replied to your post. If no one has heard of the place, it is likely to be small, new and highly unprofessional. Not certainly, just possibly...but KSA is not a place to take chances on a dodgy employer. When things go bad here, they are really bad...so my advice to you would be to look to a more well-known employer that others can vouch for.

Thanks for that reply. Well I wasn't really set on that place -- I just happened to come across that name when I was looking for school in KSA.

I'm actually more curious about an American (or UK?) run school named "English First" (EF). Has anyone taught there? It sounds like one of those institutes with a pretty strict way of teaching. Another question is, does it always take so long for schools you apply to to get back to you? I've been waiting for weeks now for most of these schools.

You can (and usually do) wait months for a reply from a teaching institution in Saudi Arabia. In most places, and even in big universities, decisions about hiring are made at the last minute. Expect a surprise phone call in August. Very Happy
