| VS, do you know if the UAE discriminates against certain birth places (aside from Israeli)? I ask b/c even though I'm a citizen of a Western nation, I was born in a Third World country. That wouldn't be a problem, would it? |

I haven't heard of any... but I'm not sure how it will affect things if your birth certificate doesn't match your passport. Perhaps you will need to also have your citizenship papers included. I'd ask the employer... and the UAE Embassy about this question. (hopefully they will give a similar answer... )
Since the birth certificate thing is new this year, I doubt that anyone here has yet encountered this problem.
