The information from KFUPM is that furnished housing is provided. So newcomer just needs to bring cook, quilt, sheet, and clothes. Will it be easy to buy them there if I don't bring so much stuff?

"Will it be easy to buy them there if I don't bring so much stuff?"

Yup - it'll be a lot easier to travel light.

Travel light as John suggests.
You'll find that once you're in KSA, shopping will be your number one activity so no need to ruin the experience by not having anything to shop for Laughing

Apart from pork products and C2HO5H, you can buy just about anything in Khobar/Dammam

Sorry for the mistake. I meant "cooker" rather than "cook".

Actually Saudi is one of the many countries in the world where a cook is cheaper than a cooker. Unless you buy the expensive made in the West variety like Scot47.

Dear hehaheha
Only if he converts - which from what I know of him is, I'd say, most improbable.
