There is no shortage of forums related to life in Poland:

I don't have a issue with the nature of this particular forum. But for a job discussion forum, the threads that seem to attract the most traffic tend to be about Poland's perceived shortcomings (customer service, things one cannot buy, etc.). It is just an observation.

I 'm sure there are tons of other Polish forums about.I prefer to stick to one and fortunately for all of you;this is the one! Cool

the info in this thread might also be of help to a newbie joining the ranks of ESL teachers here in PL. They can get an idea of what they can't expect to see if they were used to it back in their native country.

it's not a poke at PL, but general observations of everyday life.

Don't take this too seriously.

The bottom line is that we all came here not knowing what to expect and we are making the best out of it. Very Happy

Thinking about the roast beef and Yorkshire pudding lunch I'm going to have later, you can't get Colemans English mustard here. I bring a couple of big tins back with me from the UK when I go.

You can get Coleman's mustard here. It's sold at all Kuchnia Swiata shops. You can also get Coleman's mustard powder at Bomi shops.
