Hi, I am planning to go to Xalapa in 2 weeks and I am flying into the Benito Juarez airport in Mexico City and then taking an airport ADO bus to Xalapa. Do you think the airport will stay open with all that is happening? More importantly, if so, will the bus services to other cities still be active?
Thanks! I have been waiting ALL YEAR for this to go back and visit and do not want to cancel. |

My opinion (FWIWa long time ago in Canada I used to be a statistician who worked with epidemiologists in the public health system) is that at this time it's anybody's guess what the situation will be in 2 weeks time. At the moment, things are getting worse, but there isn't enough data to compute whether a turnaround for the better will have occurred by then.
I wouldn't want to cancel either if I were in your place, but you should be prepared for the possibility that it may be canceled for you. |
