Please read posts carefully before you make comments. The link to a job was aimed at the director of foundation who might find a leadership post at SOAS in London a possible post he would be interested in. He/she has also lost his/her job.

Are you guys absolutely certain the Big Zed isn't running this show? Sure sounds like his handiwork.
Z always said women and Americans should be prohibited from teaching English in the Persian Gulf .
Gosh, how I miss him.

I did read them... and still see no link. Running some rinky-dink TEFL course in the Gulf has little relationship to Middle East Studies. (and never ran into any ME TEFL management that had a degree in ME studies...)

While I agree it's unlikely our director of Foundation would apply for the SOAS job, I don't think he'd appreciate you describing his current role as "running some rinky-dink TEFL course"......

He may not like it... but it's a small educational organization in a small country with unlimited cash but very limited scope...

It's TEFL... Rolling Eyes

SD Boy, one should be careful about mentioning names, particularly if there is any negative connotation. However, to answer your question. No.

Really? Is this a mod-avoidance issue?

Coz I kinda feel like it is my duty to tell newbies about any particularly evil baddies, or their minions.

Dear seven seas,
It's probably better to use the PM feature for giving specific names. Otherwise your post will probably get puled.
