|
|
I have six years of teacher experience. I taught conversational English at a college in Asia for a year. I also taught elementary school in the USA for five years. I taught kindergarten for 3 years and first grade for 2 years. I have a BA in history, postgraduate diploma in business and MS in education. I have a US teaching certificate in primary education (prek-3rd grade) and Esol (prek-12).
COMPENSATION PACKAGE
*Salary range is between 11,000-16,000 AED a month
*7 weeks off in the summer
*Sick leave 15 days a year
*Furniture allowance
*Airfare is provided for the commencement and end of contract. Airfare included for spouse and up to three dependent children. (I will be going to UAE alone. I do not have any dependents).
*All UAE statutory holidays off
*Medical insurance
What is a fair salary for teaching for an ADEC school? I have been told that compensation can be negotiated at the interview.

I agree with Carlen... your credentials and experience should put you at the very top of the scale and the benefits package is pretty much the standard for the Gulf. (except that most provide education benefits for kids, but since you aren't bringing any, it doesn't matter. )
