I've just been watching Prime Minister's Question time on tv. There seems to be alot in common between the house of Commons and Dave's. Let me expand.
People are free to come and go when they want. People are free to bring up any issue they want. There is some censorship. Some people get on with each other and others don't. There are two main 'sides' In parliament it is the government and non-government. Here, it seems to have developed into male versus female.
However, there is one main difference. There is a lot more sense spoken here than in Parliament.

Now, who would be in the Cabinet. John Slat for PM. Sara for Minister of women's affairs? .....

I was thinking Roger for PM. He seems to have the premicy <SP> over us. Dave himself as his one nighter, hired when needed <refering to Clinton>, Capergurl for 'foreign affairs', gerard for seeing that we have the beer in good supply, Shmooj for the equilibriumist <yes, LA knows a six syllible word, john!!!>. Fat chris for event organising and as the finally, dmb for the idea man, what ever the correct term for that is...

and moi for thinking up reall-goofy shi=t?

I don't know people too well, but from what I've seen, I'd probably vote:

dave, yaramaz, Teacher in Rome or Deborann for PM - they get my bid for being the most level-headed under pressure (and well, anyone as smart as Dave, who put this place together, deserves it).

Lynn, Capergirl, Johnslat, denise, James-T-Kirk, saudad would all get my backing in their political careers .. but I don't know anymore positions so I'll just say they seem to all come off as very strong characters with good scruples.

I'd never apply for a governmental job. As you can tell, I don't know much about politics and my opinions would almost always be unpopular. I don't even think I'd have enough charm for it.

Dear dmb,
Cute??

"TIGER, tiger, burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

In what distant deeps or skies 5
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand dare seize the fire?

And what shoulder and what art
Could twist the sinews of thy heart? 10
And when thy heart began to beat,
What dread hand and what dread feet?

What the hammer? what the chain?
In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? What dread grasp 15
Dare its deadly terrors clasp?

When the stars threw down their spears,
And water'd heaven with their tears,
Did He smile His work to see?
Did He who made the lamb make thee? 20

Tiger, tiger, burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?

Regards,
John

I like the idea of comparing us all to the lower chamber of the Houses of Parliament. Would it be possible for me to now presume upon you all to prefix your responses and references to any input of mine and to myself, also to yourselves and your input and references as:

A) My learned colleague.
B) The honourable poster for.... (London, East).
C) The member of Dave's for..... (England Class of '96)
