There really is no point in reading this site for advice, since they take off anything the employer does not agree with.
So come here for positive comments, but negatives are removed.

Good question - I mean, what exactly IS the point? I didn't see the original post, so I can't comment on that. But it seems to me that if the message you reposted here has been left up, then there must have been SOMETHING in the original post that violated the Forum guidelines. After all, why would they leave this message up, otherwise, letting posters contact the guy/gal for more info?

Doesn't it seem like a very, ah, inefficient sort of censorship that would remove the original posting but then leave up one that tells posters how to contact the OP for "the true facts"? Isn't it much more likely that there was something in the original posting that violated the guidelines on Dave's? I mean, why would they leave up that second posting otherwise?

I wrote the original posting in question here, basically it was an account of my year at ILP Pancoran, Jakarta.
I outlined the problems that I encountered, so no hearsay. I outlined the problems so that anybody considering working at ILP would be better informed to make a decision.
I do not have the original post, or I would put it up again. It was on this board for over a month and received 300-400 hits.
I have not been informed why it was pulled, and I don't really care anyway.
What Willy and I are bitching about is not this post in particular, because who really cares? We are bitching about the fact that negative postings about schools are removed or 'disappear' from this site... so what is the point of reading this forum? A person cannot get an accurate view of how a school is run with only positive comments.
So my message to anyone using this site to decide where to apply or where to work: you will have to do more research than just here.
