Does anyone have any info about salary, hours, holiday etc... at the University of Economics in Izmir?

Well the first two items are ok, probably only beaten by the better high schools. But the holidays, well we don't really do them here!

How bad are the holidays? Does the university take care of work permit and ikamet? I appreciate the advice.

They are legally obliged to take care of permits etc, it is not a dershane. However, like some,most ,all ( you choose) of them, holidays are taken by the lucky few who know how to crawl to the right people at the right time. Xmas is a four letter word here, for example.
