Hi All,
I am new to this English Teaching, I am currently working in Zhuhai for a software company and I am looking at doing some English teaching, I have a Bsc in computer Science, some teaching experience mainly computers in different companies I have worked for but I have no formal class room experience.
My question is what Certificate is best, TEFL, TESOL or CELTA,  Online or classroom , and what requirements do schools ask for. |

this has been asked SO many times.
CELTA; Trinity and SIt are the best known.
If you don't want to go with them, make sure it has 120 hours plus 6 of teaching practise.
DOn't do online unless it has a practical teaching component. |

The only CELTA Course I know of in China is in Beijing, As I am in Zhuhai, China I will have to leave my job before doing the course.
Does anyone know of a school in south China that does the CELTA course or any other TESOL course with a practical teaching component.

Hi nstick13,
Yes I did google it before I posted in the forum and I only found the one in Beijing (Northern China) As I am in Zhuhai (Southern China) a CELTA course in Southern China would be more helpful, The link http://cambridgeesol-centres.org/centres/teaching/index.do was alot of help as it gives me two more places, that are a lot closer to where I am.
