The policy is to ask students who don't maintain a B or B+ average to exit the school. It leaves parents in a bad way, scrambling to find a place at another school. One of my friends had to homeschool his son when he got kicked out for having a C in grade 10. That's the year most of them get notice. They only want A and B+ students to go through the IB. Some of my friends have been in this situation. The school is so rich it can afford to be selective about the students. Many of the students have private tutors to help them maintain their B+ grades. |
