| Bo Resort is really nice and low key I used to go there a lot for weekends a few years ago. Nothing to do in Phu Quoc unless you want to do a tour of a Fish sauce factory. The beaches are nice but some have a lot of stuff washed up on the beach - nobody picks it up. Also there were a millions of jellyfish - non stinging one time I went. The beaches are nicer than Mui Ne and Nha Trang but not as nice or as cheap as Koh PHI pHI or Koh Phan Ngan in Thailand. Phu Quoc is beginning to develop fast and a new coast road to the ferry port and airport will speed it up so go before it all changes. There are dozens of tacky Vietnamese resorts already opening up with concrete palm trees and neon lights every month. |
