|
|
Will I be able to get magazine subscriptions like LRB/Literary Review?
Are music tapes permissible?( Jim Reeves Greatest Hits)
If DVD s are not allowed then I presume DVD players are not on sale.
Can I bring my sons' collection of books?
Is reading material easily available for children?
I checked out some of the KSA book stores online but need info on the ground
Thanks in advance for your replies.
I remain kind Sirs( and Sirresses) Mr K |

Where on earth did you hear this? Both DVDs (albeit often in specially pre-cut Middle Eastern versions) and players are readily available here.
The answer to all of your other questions (with the possible exception of the latter, on which I, being childfree, am not well informed) is "Yes". |

Oh Stern Mistress of the Nile,
Your word is my command!!!
I remain, My Lady, your most obedient, if ill informed, servant.
Bows, then shuffles back to his darkened room, puts on Vic Reeves Greatest Hits and is never seen again....ever.

Well, I think you need a glass of hot camel milk mixed with Arabian Zangabeel, and then you have to get out from your dark room as soon as possible!! |

You can get here all the items listed, and you can bring all the items you listed that you want to bring.
As for DVDs, they are available in special sanitized versions at bookstores for about $15-25 each. But, no one wants to watch edited movies, so there is a big black market here for illegal uncut copies that people sell by the roadside. The quality can vary from terrible to quite good, but is usually decent. They cost about $5 each. |

Well after he sold me some good Zanjabil and Salsabil, in silver and crystal goblets, under shady boughs next to cool bubbling streams, I decided he could sell you some, too. |

In fact, Zangabil and Salsabil are both mentioned in the Holy Quran. Salsabil is a river in the paradie.
Salsabil is also the name of one of the old neighborhoods in Tehran, Iran.
"And there they will be given a cup whose mixture is of Zanjabil (ginger). A fountain there, called Salsabil." (76:17-18.)

He dreams about it every night......and therein lies the problem
Hey Mr Bond, my auntie Doris is Ginger and she loves Salsa do you reckon she would fit the Bil for your nemesis Mr Eccentric or is he spoken for?
She's a dab hand domestically, Diploma in Dusting(Honours) from Thunderbird.

Well, it depends if she can survive the sunlight or not?
If she cant, then I recommend giving her a cup of hot camel milk mixed with Celexa 500 mg tablets, and use olive oil of Yemen in her face and neck, 4 times a day, for 30 days! Then she will forget the Salsa forever!
Any problems, just call me! |
