So I had a job with a contract that went from August 2008 to August 2009, but I worked illegally in the country while my visa was being processed so my visa actually ends in November 09.
I quit the job in March 09; didn't give proper notice and I definitely don't want to use my former employer as a reference.
When I left the country I didn't have any re-entry permit or anything, so they just asked if I was leaving for good. I said yes and they stamped my passport "departed" but didn't stamp that my visa was canceled or anything.
Am I going to have problems getting a new work visa with my new company? |

Your current visa will probably be invalidated upon your return because you didn't get a reentry permit.
You will probably have to apply for a whole new work visa. |
