I've browsed these hallowed halls before under other names datintg back to when you had instant acess and the need for security was less. 9/11 was in the future and I was holier than thou. I started in EFL in 1996 and still love it under whatever name I'm involved in.
In the time I've been involved people still seem to think that the business will adapt to them - it won't unless you offer something special!
Ask people like Glenski what they have done to adapt. This is not a recession proof inductry far from it. It's a great job to learn from but it isn't going to pay well.
My advice would be getting jobs that are reasonably recession proof - this may mean state sector but you'll need to judge for yourself. I always honour contracts but will your boss~?
Sorry if I'm repeating things but good advice can never be repeated too many times.
For that matter can there be ay neutral advice on this board??? Decide and survive. |
