| Advertising can also get you into do-do if you attract the attention of the wrong people. |

| while I have heard this warning often enough.. I have never seen anyone actually punished for running an ad and I have seen quite a few ... my guess is unless you run into a conflict with someone and they file a claim against you to recover money, you would never hear about it.. many chinese will advertise in the expat mags for addtional instruction.... so you may not even have to run an ad yourself...as it is not formal employment...I am not even sure it would count as additonal employment ....one method I have seen employed is the printing of Bus cards with name and number...a cell you can turn off when you dont want to be reached.. I have two sim cards in my phone.. passed out when meeting someone and surely this action will yield more than a few students...when I first came to BEijing I met people who make their entire nut off of tutoring ... |
