I am using Arabco to ship belongings to Canada. I believe they charge approx. 14 SR per kilo for air cargo, but is best to confirm as my memory is bad
It is actually less hassle to send by air cargo than by boat-ship. Less paper work involved apparently. I will post the company's number later.
However this is the first time I have used ARABCO, but so far they seem reliable.
They do supply boxes, of course you pay for them.
There are a few more cargo companies...but can't recall off hand. |

Dear usool,
I used Four Winds when I left, and was completely satisfied. Fine service, reasonable fees, no breakage or losses.
Regards,
John |

Used Four Winds. Considerable breakage.
Took over a year and many calls to be compensated.
Would never ship anything from or to KSA. |

When my family and I left Jeddah in 2002 we shipped a container with just under 3000 kg of "stuff" from Jeddah to the Balkans. It worked well. I was amazed at how easy it was. It went from Jeddah to Malta and was then transferred to another ship that took it to Varna whwre it was offloaded and truicked to my Baalkan redoubt. Some of the stuff is sytill in boxes. mayb e I will get around to unpacking it all one day.
Total cost was about US$2300. i am sure it would be more today. |
