|
|
Hi all...
I'm considering a move to Mexico City for a year or two to get some teaching abroad experience and to develop my Spanish. I have about six years of teaching experience and a California teaching credential.
Does anyone have suggestions on schools to check out for an experienced, credential teacher?
I'd be open to part-time or full-time work as I also teach classes online.
Thanks! |

Look at the "elite" international schools.
You'll be at the top of the teaching market and your pay should be around $20,000 pesos per month which is very good by local standards.
BTW my pay topped out at about $18-19,000 pesos per month working for just one school (No, it was not Quick Learning). |

Thanks for the response! Do you have any suggestions on specific schools to check out? Do these schools ever hire from abroad or should I be settled in DF first?
Thanks so much for any input any of you may have! |
