Has anyone got info about the Arabian Education and Training Group?
They sent me an application, but my mama taught me to always be suspicious. Are they legit? What sort of salary and package do they offer? |

They're affliated with Alfaisal International Academy (ALFAC). If they intend to send you to Dammam, that is probably a good thing. But if they want to post you at their academy in Riyadh, I think you would invariably prefer repeatedly pressing and retracting thousands of needles - not uniformly - into your eyes at a painstakingly slow pace while having world class goalkeepers furiously stomp on your genitalia.
There are perhaps other positions in Saudi that would call for something less dire such as slitting your wrists. |

Others have written posts on Saudi British Centre, so try the search function. You'll also find something in the archives about AFLAC that I've posted.
I'm not sure which is worse, but my guess is that the turnover rate at ALFAC isn't as bad as at SBC.
University positions tend to be better than posts at these institutes. |

I've also been offered a contract from Arabian Training Group. The total working hours 45/wk and it's split-shift. Kaplan Aspect is a new company as I'm hearing. So what are the pros and cons of working for Arabian Training Group because they want me to start promply in August and I'm trying to weigh my options carefully? |

I was given an offer by AETG and had it taken away after asking some questions regarding the contract.
The excuse I was given however was that they didn't know I was presently employed in the Kingdom. and they didn't want to go through the hassle of transferring me over.
All this after being recruited by a third-party consultant, and completing their application twice (once electronically, and then by hand).
I think this just goes to show what kind of employer they are. |
