My avatar, which is obviously too large, was changed recently, and not by me. I checked the properties on the avatar, and it says it was created on 3/11/04. Today is the first time I have visited the general discussion forum in a long time. It was changed today, but not by me. I reported this to the mods, and one wrote me back and said that it could not be changed without my password. Nobody else has my password, and it couldn't be guessed as it is a word made up by me.
Has anyone else had this happen? Is it possible that the properties of my previous avatar were assigned to another image? I checked the website that is listed in the properties, and I have never been there either.
The real irony is that I sort of like the avatar, but it is too big.
I'm interested in any logical explanation. |

Do you have control over the server where the image is located? If you don't, using the image could be considered bandwidth theft by some.
I have a standing offer. Anyone who wants a *small* image (assuming it is PG-rated too) hosted on my server for avatar purposes need only contact me. |
