After careful consideration, the following individuals have been selected to perform in my new theatrical adaptation of "The Wizard of OZ". The new name of the show will be "The Wizard of Al Riyadh," or Al Jubal, I'm currently undecided.

To the members who did not make the cut, better luck next time. Very Happy

Cast

VS as Dorthy
Johnslat as the Tin Man
One of the Sheiks as The Scarecrow
NCTBA as The Cowardly Lion
007 as The Wicked Witch of the West
Eclectic as the Winged Monkey
Tillymd as Glinda
??? as the Wizard, any recommendations for this role would be gratefully appreciated.
All others as Munchkins

Thank you for your participation. Rehearsals start next week.

Dear tillymd,
Ah, if I only had a heart.
For the Wizard, the Great and Powerful Oz, may I nominate Stephen Jones?
Regards,
John

Dear Green Acres,

Glinda (or Glinda the Good Witch) She is the most powerful sorceress of Oz, although a fairy in later books, ruler of the Quadling Country south of the Emerald City, and protector of Princess Ozma.

Dear littleoldlady,

"Can I be a Munchkin?"

Well, you can if you're really "little."

Regards,
John

Dear littleoldlady,
Well, it's tillymd's show, but I'd say that permission's already been given:

"All others as Munchkins."

But remember - you can wear only blue.

Regards,
John

Dear Kipling,
Well, seeing as how many times Dorothy "cuddles" Toto, maybe you better check out that request with VS first.

John

Well I have lost around 5 kilos by going on a salt free fruit and veggie diet but VS I'd starting pumping iron before the rehearsals if I were you. I look like the late great Roy Kinnear though that might not mean much to our North American compadres.
Cuddles..... as I am already cuddly, it would be pleasant for all concerned.
Agh the finger waggers gone off in a huff.......don't worry, she'll probably come back in a minute and a huff.
