|
|
Hi, Everyone
Just wondering if any ladies from KAU have received their offer/contract yet? I was selected some time ago, but no offer. Is there usually a delay between the selection process and receipt of the contract?
Thanks

It could take anywhere between 12 days and twelve months, sometimes longer sometimes shorter.
Really! Trying to put a time frame on Saudis and Saudi bureaucracy is like .........(sorry no analogy).

Hi,
my husband was offered a position in KAU, they interviewed him in April and told him he was accepted early in May. Then, two weeks later, they asked him to send them a 20 minutes-video showing him teaching in the classroom!!!!
funny isn't it ? or may be it is |

Yes, that is funny. Seems like they should have requested the video before they selected him. Maybe they're having second thoughts.
Did he get his offer (contract) yet? |

Well, ask your husband to wait two weeks, and send them a 7 minutes-video showing him in the kitchen drinking camel milk with his left hand and a Cuban cigar in his right hand, and telling them this: "Thank you for your invitation, the common sense dictates that I must decline your offer, because I accepted another offer with another university wich respects the common sense of life! Wa Salam" |

Well, it is strange, but not surprising as you may hear many starnge things in the KSA.
Usually they send the offer through e-mail, that's what happened to me once and my husband twice, and then when you accept it they will send the official contract through express post to the adress that YOU provide.
hope this helps |
