Hi -
I will be pursuing my CELTA this summer and am currently debating BridgeTEFL's program in Budapest versus Avo-Bell's program in Sofia. Do any of you have experience with either program? Pros, cons and the like?
I am leaning toward Avo-Bell in Sofia as it seems very professional and challenging and, if I'm going to go for my certification then I might as well go for the gold, so to speak. Also, it is about $500 less, when you factor in housing and such, than the Budapest program.
With that said, I'd like to know more.
Thank you for your thoughts! |

I did the CELTA in Dubai. One of our trainers was Mike Cattlin, who was based at International House in Budapest. He is a wonderful teacher and a pleasure to learn from. If he's still in Budapest that would be many points on the plus side for that location over Sofia. Of course I'm sure all the trainers are great but since I've never met them I can't endorse them! Good luck, whatever you decide. |
