This is just to warn those who wish to work for STA/SDT in KSA. I was released because of a dispute with another teacher. I was being verbally harassed. When reported, STA did nothing about it, though this is also classed as gross misconduct in their contract.

When I refused to sign STAs final waiver (it absolves them of all financial responsibility and essentially states that they have paid their dues) they turned nasty. I was flown from Taif to Riyadh, where I had to deal with a hostile crowd at Fahad International (the Saudi sponsor), who REFUSED to process my final exit visa. I had to call the BRITISH EMBASSY to force the Saudi Sponsor to act. Nobody would talk to me or arrange anything. I signed the final waiver after I had established that the final salary had been transferred to my account. STA (David Kerr) will dump you like a hot brick if you challenge him or question his authority. If there is a dispute, you will be shipped out without trial or retribution. STA are OK if everything is going their way. I was tried in a kangaroo court and shipped out in a virtual body bag.

Be careful if you have any dealings with STA/SDT. They paid the salary on time most of the time but the job as a whole sucked. You get shipped around from dammam to riyadh (madareem suites) to jubail. Essentially, you get sent to any place where they need you. I was moved SEVEN times in all. You are just a piece of meat. The money was good but expect to be treated like a piece of meat. You get chewed up and spat out just the same.

This all sounds fairly par for the course in KSA.

I interviewed with them..the money was good...they offered a position..but, by that time, I was fed up with The Gulf in general and turned it down

PS You're lucky the embassy did anything.

Ace

I'm sure you're a nice guy deep down and you're feeling a bona fide victim of a gross injustice, but what you've just written about STA/SDT sounds like a steaming pile of prejudiced camel dung.

My advice to you is to find the nearest gym and pump some iron...skipping gives good tension release too.

Do you have any proof that what he is saying is a lie? I don't know either way, hence my silence on this matter. If you have evidence what he is saying is BS (or CD), please, show it!

Currently STA are paying 18250SAR, though language solutions are paying a little less.

Good nowadays is a minimum of 14000SAR, any less and its peanuts, though 14-16000SAR is acceptable in the current recession. If you are a newbie any less than 12000SAR is not a good idea

I'm here with SDT/STA now. Everything acer1193 shared is absolutely correct.

Stick to facts, Fat Freddy. What satisfaction did you get by posting that poisonous prose? You get your kicks that way? Sounds like you have some personal issues. Deal with them. Try not to spew verbal garbage in the future. Does no one any good, except maybe you in some perverse way.

Some fat cats who have been in KSA for years are on 20-35000SAR but you have to be an old hack to get that. They might pitch in and tell you about it

C'mon now I accused him of being prejudiced not a liar. I'm sure SDT/STA were morally and legally justified to treat him the way they did. You've just got to look at how the guy is on a personal mission to discredit individuals and destroy company reputations to realise he's a complete and utter whack job.

You really need help, FF. You have no idea what you're talking about, yet you just continue to do so.

Your credibility is a big, fat ZERO, FF.

You have no idea what SDT and STA are like. You're defending the devil.

What makes you sure of anything regarding this issue? The answer is, NOTHING.

If you think you've read harsh things about SDT and STA on this thread, just wait until I share what they have done to me.

Coming soon...
