Hello;

I've got a BA in English and one year of experience teaching in South Korea; however, the way my schedule works out I don't have time to enroll in a Tefl course before starting my next contract.

Does anyone work and a school, or have a heads up for one, that doesn't require a tefl? I've found several but am looking for more.

Thank you!

Autumn

Lingua Nova in Warsaw doesn't really require anything but a native speaker in the classroom to entertain the students!

I've heard of several here in the Warsaw area and I'm not sure any of the ones I've heard about require from a native speaker anything but but your accent ! Smile

Actually, I think it is a "bone of contention" to well trained Polish ESL teachers that they hire untrained native English teachers.

But, what can we say? We do intuitively what they study for years.

My daughter, 17, managed to sub for me in classes when I made a quick trip to the states. She didn't have to explain grammar as they want the Polish teachers to do that, which makes me very happy anyway.
