Yes, in 2005. I don't think my instructors are still there, but a CELTA is a CELTA. I liked the course, and it did get me both my jobs. If you have questions feel free to PM.

I'd love to pm you but I'm not allowed until I've posted 25 times! Typical! So how did you find the course? Do you come from a teaching background? How did you find your jobs? Sorry to ask a hundred questions, I hope you don't mind.

Well, I found the course to be intense, time consuming and nerve wracking, but valuable none the less. I got on with (agreed with) one instructor more than the other. There really is no spare time, you're either in class, preparing a lesson, teaching or writing a paper.
I didn't have previous teaching experience, my background is print journalism. Glad I didn't make a career of that!
I was referred to my first job by IH. And, they did warn me that it would be awful! To think, I used to like children.
For my second job I poked around and found a job that suited me, mainly by word of mouth, following my nose, etc.
I had to leave Mexico City in January due to family problems, and am back in the US preparing to start an MA in the fall.
Other areas I really liked were Chiapas and Oaxaca.

Thank you, that's really useful information. Good luck with the MA!
