Hi everyone. After finishing a year-long full-time contract I have decided to only work part-time so I can spend more time on my Ebay selling. My school has offered me a part-time rate of 120rmb/hour. The classes are one full hour long and have the Full lesson plans.
Is 120rmb an acceptable rate in Guangzhou or should I demand more?
Thanks!

you still living at the school?

dont need to travel there and back?

who are you teaching?

no visa issues to worry about?

how much do you need to live on? is your ebay selling enough to pay the bills and then some?

120 is about what people get for overtime at their regular school jobs, but its a bit low for someone working freelance in a city that can have higher living costs. and most uni classes are only 45 mins long.

I'd try to get at least 150 for a part time job.
