I am thinking of taking a teaching post with ITESM-Torreon this fall and would like anyone's opinions/stories about this place. Thanks!

Look for posts from me. I've detailed good and bad things about this place but I've never worked at the TEC.

What are your likes/dislikes? What do you look for in a place? Tell me and I can give you some ideas about how to make Torreon all it can be.

MikeySaid,
Thanks for the reply. I am still waiting for their go-ahead, even though the interview went very well.

Torreon is a crappy place to live. It's violent, dusty, dirty, and hot. If you can deal with all that, ITESM pays well and is a reputable place to work. For my money, i'd look into something in Mexico City, Guadalajara or even Monterrey.
