Depends on the criteria. I've had jobs that I took for the money and jobs that I took because I wanted to live in those particular countries. In terms of quality of life, ability to pursue and develop hobbies, professional work environment, and savings potential I'd say my current job wins. But for love of the country itself, its culture, history, etc., I'd say either the Czech Republic or Peru.

I'm in Oman now.
Prague is absolutely gorgeous, as is the rest of the Czech Republic.

Yay great to hear that! I'm sure it's beautiful! I am starting to plan my 4-week Celta in Prague for the fall/winter, hopefully, then *hopefully* finding a job there.
Just for curiosity's sake, what is Oman like? |

Oman, or at least Muscat, is not as bad for young singles as it initially seems: Muslim country, limited nightlife, lots of married couples and families, etc., etc. But once you get settled and know where to go, it's fine. It's very safe, and you can even meet men. Once you stray from the expat-y places, though, you will encounter men and even young boys who might hoot at you, but it's harmless and doesn't happen very often.
As far as what Oman is like, based on my own experiences I'd say it depends on whether you're in Muscat or in a small town. Small town life here is more conservative, there are far fewer options for going out, and your social circle will likely consist of your colleagues. Of course, you can always head off into the mountains or wadis, and most people do. In Muscat, you can have a very comfortable life, going out, either in the city or out into the wild..., saving money, enjoying creature comforts in your home, etc. There are tons of expats, so your social circle can expand quite a bit. It's hard to integrate with the locals, though.
You generally need more than entry-level qualifications, though. There are jobs that will hire people without MAs, but you still need a few years of experience. It's not really a newbie-friendly country.

Are there any many private teaching opportunities in Oman? |

I don't know anyone here who teaches privately. The jobs are generally good enough that there's no need to supplement your income, and I visa sponsorship comes from your employer.
Wait--there is one woman that I know of who gives private Arabic lessons on campus. OK, so I guess some people do it.

Well, I am considering coming to Oman to study. I was wondering if there was any way to earn some spending money while on a student visa. |
