Q: I've read several references to a job info journal, specifically in the Middle East forum in regards to specific information about Syria (few other places too). Every time I put JIJ into the search function, I get links, click and get sent around to the Dave's ESL welcome page again. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks.... alot

i don't think you are doing anything wrong - the search function on this site does some strange things too - try using the full words instead of the acronym as you are doing - you may get better results

I'm not sure of the reasons, but the job information journal got discontinued a while ago.

I suppose it had to do with difficulties keeping it up to date- stuff about Ecuador, which I know, was extremely antiquated and therefore misleading.

In any case, most of what was in it is available on the discussion forums themselves with a little searching.

Best,
Justin
