Is anyone looking for a replacement or extra help during July-August? I am a very qualified ESL teacher, but looking to get out of the States for a change of scenery this summer. I don't want to melt in Hangzhou if I can hang at the summer palace like real royalty. I can speak and get around on my own.
Any suggestions?

I had to laugh at this. Have you ever been to Beijing in the summer time? Even near YiHeYuan, 41-42C (107F or so) temps at times aren't exactly cool. I know. I know. It's a dry heat.

look around the Haerbin area... they seem to run out of teachers all the time. I know that there are plenty of summer camps in inner mongolia that you might want to take a look at....
