hola fellow gaijin!
anybody going to summer sonic festival 2009?
i am bit of a newb despite attending numerous u.s. and european music festivals..
none of the alts i know want to go in my area of ibaraki-ken. and i would like to travel and hang out at the show with like-minded individuals
curious to see if any other music fans on here on this forum.
i am looking forward to sonic youth, flaming lips, and mastodon.... |

Im 90% sure that I'll be going to the Summer Sonic festival in Osaka, as long as I can get tickets. My cousin is currently touring with Mastodon on their crew, so he's going to try to hook me up with tickets for Sunday.
Its my first time going to Summer Sonic though, since I have only been in Japan since February. I'm living in Akashi City, west of Kobe and Osaka. You would probably be going to the Tokyo festival, right? |
