Hello!

I am very interested in flying to Cambodia and teach English. However, I am not a native speaker, and do not hold any degrees.

I am, however, interested in doing a course. So far the CELTA seems like the best.. Any opinions about that? Does it matter where (country wise) I do it?

Basically, what I'm trying to ask, is what are my chances of getting employment in Cambodia, assuming I successfully finish the course, and my English is near native?

Cheers for that mate!

I'm thinking about doing the TESOL with LanguageCorps in Cambodia. Does anyone know anything about them? Or can think of a better alternative?

Check out www.camtefl.org - just finished the course in May and can highly recommend it for the quality of training and the volunteer school its associated with. It has accreditation by the College of Teachers in the UK so it's a fairly well recognised qualification too
