How do you decide? There seems to be alot more posting going on(alot of new members?) Do you have time to look at them all. I have to sit about at work for 8 hours a day even if I'm not teaching so yes I do to tend to read every post. Do you choose topics based on the country, your topic, the people who answer, something that grabs your attention. {I even find myself checking out countries I have never been to or thought about going to-just to be nosy}

Dear khmerhit,
Assuming, of couse, that the . . .girl(s) actually are girls/ladies. This is cyberspace, after all - who can say for sure (except, of course, the posters themselves)?
Regards,
John

Dear khmerhit,
Well, in cyberspace it's mighty hard to check for more prominent Adam's apples or to scope out the sizes of hands and feet. Not that I really think any of the . . . girl(s) - or, for that matter, males - on this board are masquerading.
Regards,
John

Well, as long as we think they are girls, does it really matter if the are girls or not?

DMB, didn't you use to have the Daffy Duck avatar? Isn't Daffy more of a girls name?

Dear DMB,
Very kind of you to say so. I read your posts as well.

P.S. John, perhaps that would make a good proverb?--SO NOT--"The adam's apple never falls far from the tree."
Now, I must get down to some studying. Sayonara everybod.

Quote:
Afternoon in School

The Last Lesson
(Also published as ``Last Lesson of the Afternoon'')

When will the bell ring, and end this weariness?
How long have they tugged the leash, and strained apart
My pack of unruly hounds: I cannot start
Them again on a quarry of knowledge they hate to hunt,
I can haul them and urge them no more.
No more can I endure to bear the brunt
Of the books that lie out on the desks: a full three score
Of several insults of blotted pages and scrawl
Of slovenly work that they have offered me.
I am sick, and tired more than any thrall
Upon the woodstacks working weariedly.

And shall I take
The last dear fuel and heap it on my soul
Till I rouse my will like a fire to consume
Their dross of indifference, and burn the scroll
Of their insults in punishment? - I will not!
I will not waste myself to embers for them,
Not all for them shall the fires of my life be hot,
For myself a heap of ashes of weariness, till sleep
Shall have raked the embers clear: I will keep
Some of my strength for myself, for if I should sell
It all for them, I should hate them -
- I will sit and wait for the bell.

It's easy to work out who the girls are on this forum..

(ahem)

Western women are fat, aggressive and sexually unattractive.

Now we just wait Wink

Dear leeroy,
Well, if nothing else, you've completely proven, I'd say, Freud's hypothesis regarding the "death wish".
Regards,
John
P.S. Didn't/Doesn't the "Daffy" avatar belong, appropriately enough, to dduck?

Damnation and hellfire Leeroy,
You have just described 50 % of the non-female population of London including me.
Am I really a girl?
