Hey,
Has anyone heard of Fuyan Kindergarten in Shenzhen? Emails from them have been a little odd so I'm just wondering if anyone can give me any advice as regards them.
Thanks in advance |

Best thing to do is find out who the foreigners are who teach there and either talk to them in person or email them. There are always K schools looking for teachers in SZ which reflects both high turnover and that business is booming. With so many jobs available you can be more selective and insist that they provide you with names and emails of current staff. Odd emails could also mean their written English is poor. Maybe you could also visit the school in person? Also, try Shenzhen Stuff at www.shenzhenstuff.com and go to the teachers' groups, and ask about this school. There seem to be a lot of K teachers on that site. |

Excellent advice and direction from poster "Alter Ego."
By the way, that's an interesting name for a school. It sounds like what many foreigners might say upon departure: "F U -- yan your kindergarten!" |

Actually it sounds more like what a number of highly disgruntled foreigners who couldn't adapt to life in China might say upon departure. That excludes those with legitimate grievances against their employer
okkio, I dont know if you're in China now but here's some contact info for a few jobs in Shenzhen:
1. +86 13929207339. Name is Victor and he runs a school just on the outskirts of Shenzhen. No other details available right now.
2. Website: www.kingerenglish.com
Contact: Supervisor: Nika
E-mail: [email protected]
0755-26978644 or 13480923640
3. [email protected]. Looking for kindergarten teachers, RMB10,000/month.
That's all the contact info I could dig up (comes from the Shenzhen Stuff website), and I don't know about the quality of the schools, but they're worth looking into if you want to stay in Shenzhen. |

Oh, OK, ECC,
By "highly disgruntled foreigners who couldn't adapt to life in China," you mean those who, after several years just grew too sick and tired all the constant lies, deceit, trickery, and corruption by ESL employers? Yeah, that's something I REALLY want to adapt to. Living and working in China for five years certainly proves how weak and inflexible I am.
Sorry if I'm cuttiing into your lucrative recruiting business. I was merely making a joke. I suppose you're far too assimilated at this point to understand western humor anymore. |

Kinger is a wannabe Wall Sreet language school clone (not a kindergarten) based out of Shanghai. They had to start doing more kids classes (young learners to teens) when adult business in Shenzhen was too s-l-o-w...OP you can PM me if you want more info. as I have direct experience with the Kinger branch in SZ. |
