It's nice to know that others will be kind and gentle. My Spanish is very poor, improving daily but it is nice to speak and associate with others who get my jokes.
I guess I would be really put off also if someone decided that it was "Spanish" speaking day. Wait a min. that happened to me. My couples sister (who speaks great english, and lived with us for 2 months) decided that she wasn't going to speak to me in english at all. It was difficult because she refused to even slow down in spanish so I could some what understand. Guess I was a little hurt by this....just not use to someone being so rude. |
