Does anyone one know anything about the this University? The online course is based off the 120 hour inclass course, but you can finish it within two weeks if you wanted. It costs 10,000 Baht which is approximately $300 dollars.
Does this sound fishy to anyone? I personally don't want to blow $300 on a scam. But if it is legitimate than it would be a great deal and an online course that is based in Thailand.

Here's the website:

It is an online TEFL. Some schools don't recognize any online certificate. If your goal is to be a better teacher, than classroom supervised training will help. If you only want a certificate for jobs, make sure that the jobs that you are looking at accept online certificates. The CMU course is comparable to other TEFL courses. They have been a round for a few years and have a decent reputation.

I personally wouldn't recommend any online course. I also still recommend the CELTA because it really isn't that much more expensive and is a well known brand name not to mention that their trainers actually have to take courses on being trainers before they start their jobs unlike most TEFL certificate programs.
