Hi there, I'm currently considering a place in surat thani and was wondering if anyone had lived there and what it was like??? (for them)

if it's a school called the English Language Centre, don't work there. The guy running that place is an absolute moron.

hi walugi cheers for the reply. Don't know about the school mite be the same one (schools change name a lot rite) ill look into it, what was so bad about the place?

What was it like living in surat thani? Was it fun or was it a bit boring? Shocked

Could the place be The Language Academy with Jason Blackamore? I looked at the location on map and decided I was interested in a position there.

If it's the same place, I would like to know more as well.

Rats! I was literally in the middle of answering several questions I was emailed as necessary for the position. Looked like a good location for short trips.

I keep thinking this was one of the rare ones that offered shared accommodations too.

well dont get too down innit. I think the place is meant to be good for that kind of thing and they do offer free accomodation but so do plenty of others in thailand. Smile

20-30 students a class seems like a lot no?

Also im thinking because of a certain factor you mite be in with a better chance so dont panic Shocked

haha synchronised (mildly) reply or what i was doing the same thing a couple of hours ago.
