Tennis is everywhere. Football is different tho as it is expensive to import all of the padding, helmets and whatnot. 
Also, it would be very difficult to play with all of your gear on but for only a few winter months as the weather is oppressively hot for most of the year.
...probably why most people have neglected to bring over all the gear...

He could be referring to football as the rest of the world describes it... and not the outlier American game... maybe... or maybe not...

Well, of course, I know that there's another "football", but I didn't think that G.A. was referring to the CFL. Even then, you'd still have the equipment constraints as I don't subscribe to the myth that Canadians are hard-headed!

I hate to use the word...."soccer," but that's what I was referring to. Even if I could play american football, I don't know if I would want to do that in the middle east. I might melt, like butter, into a puddle of oil.
Anyway, if anyone plays football or tennis, please PM me. I would like to play everyday. |
