This company is in the process of "proposing" me to a client. Does anyone know anything, good or bad, about Skyline?

cb,
i am a few steps ahead and in the works with obtaining employment in saudi through skyline (SGS). so far, i have been extremely satisfied with my dealings with SGS, to wit US contact returns calls promptly, i have been given an email contact of a teacher hired by same company already in saudi (an invaluable source), have been in (skype) contact with the saudi who is handling employment visa from the company who is hiring me. there is a wash DC contact who is assisting with visa process.

i'm not one to wait for the proverbial other shoe to drop anyway, but as far as i am concerned, i am dealing with a professional outfit. i have read in these posts that it is best to be a direct hire to a university, however, i was not going to turn down this offer. SGS recruited me to work with a training center, which in turn has secured my post in a uni. perhaps you can do a direct hire with SGS; not sure.

skyline hasn't missed a beat for me, i give 'em a 'thumbs up.' but hey, maybe someone else has a different song to sing.

it appears that guilelessness is not assumed until proven guilty, rather the other way 'round, so i shall proclaim that my ties with skyline are limited to that of an educator using the services of a 3rd party recruitment agency to procure international employment.

for gawd sakes, people, is newbie blood sweeter or are you truly just bored?!

The Marquess would seem to be a person with vast expertise in many varied areas.
He is also apparently an authority on prostitutes in Bahrain:

Amazing - just a few minutes and you're able to ascertain what the vast majority of Chinese "prossies" in Bahrain know.
Your talents are definitely being wasted in EFL.

So do you mean, then, that they are all "freelancers" with no pimps? How do they manage to get into Bahrain if that's the case?

However, it would seem that the Bahrani Youth Society for Human Rights did not reach the same conclusions that you did:

I've also applied for the same job in Al Jouf or Tabuk University through SGS and in the process of obtaining my Visa and conducting my medical.

The company have been efficient in replying to emails, seeing as I'm based in the UK. I've spoken to them a few times via the telephone and they seem genuine and very understanding.

I have noticed 'leez' too has accepted a job, and would like to keep in contact seeing as we're both heading in the same direction.

Oh right, did you apply for the job or did they approach you?

Yes sure, I don't mind, I'm hoping to get to know people in the same boat as me.
