Warning - the use of Volunteer title - immediately smacks of an illegal company that has no license to hire FT's (or at least dump them in illegal working situations) - and one that will have problems getting the correct work visa.

Just through the tone of that contract, it looks one of the dodgiest deals I've ever come across in China - be prepared to be shipped around like a lump of livemeat - the meek and mild will be working to the whims of their employer, and with no real work visa you can't run anywhere for help - you'll be very much on your own with an employer that may also threaten you through your illegal status Idea

Zhang - maybe another Zhang but that name has some mighty bad connections in the China FT world - and this Goldwyn Zhang Company - through the net they reckon to be based in Beijing.

MK,

Forget about MI5.

You've already violated the contract by sharing it on Dave's. True, you haven't signed it, but that's a technicality your employers will overlook when stiffing you.

Not sure why you ask for advice here, since you obviously don't listen to that which you receive.

I'll be interested in learning about what type of hosing you receive. You've been informed. Now, it's on you.

Always the possibility things will work out just fine.
